Happy Tuesday!

Last Tuesday, the 9th, Lennon turned 9 months old! I can’t believe how quickly time is passing by and how fast he is growing! He has learned so many new things, and is getting so strong. Let’s start off this post with pictures taken since the previous update!

New to Lennon:

We celebrated Lennon’s first Christmas since the last update, and Lennon was showered in gifts from his mommy and daddy, as well as his grandparents (on both sides!) He was so cute in his little elf outfit! We celebrated Christmas morning here in Texas a little early before heading to Utah to be with family. Lennon visited with Santa and we were all suprised as to how happy and smiley he was! We thought he would cry.

Before Lennon turned 8 months old, he learned out to pull himself up onto things. Ever since then he has been standing non-stop! He pulls himself up onto everything and tries to walk along the edge. He just started trying to stand up all on his own without anything to pull up on. It’s so cute! Although, with all this standing and exploring he is bonking his head more and more, which makes me sad, but it comes with the territory!

Lennon is always go, go, go. If he’s not standing, he crawling EVERYWHERE! He’s progressed from the army crawl to the knee crawl and he’s so quick with so much pep. We had to get a gate to block off some things in our place that arn’t so baby friendly (tv stand, africa stuff, etc.) so he can have freedom without us having to worry all the time.

In the last update I mentioned he got his bottom teeth, and now 4 top teeth are coming in! They have all cut through, now we are just waiting for them to lengthen all the way out. He’s gonna have the cutest buck teeth and gap!!! HEHE

Lennon’s Day-to-Day:

Lennon is on a pretty good schedule right now.

• 7:30 am: Wake-Up
• 8:30 am: Breakfast (solids)
• 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Nap
• 12:00 pm: Play, Play, Play!
• 2:00 pm-3:00 pm: Nap
• 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm: Play, Play, Play!
• 6:30 pm: Dinner (solids)
• 7:00 pm: Bedtime Routine
• 7:30 pm: SLEEP!!!

During the play times we often read, learn about animals, walk around, crawl, look at cars, go on walks, or go shopping (when we have the car). Nothing crazy, but it works for us!

Lennon’s Eating Habits:

Lennon still loves everything I give him! He loves food, and if I am trying to eat while he is around, he will stand up and practically beg me to give it to him! He won’t leave me along to eat in peace!!! haha

He definitely has favorite foods, and right now he loves eggs! Scrambled eggs are one of the only finger foods I feel comfortable giving to him because they are soft so he wont choke. It always stresses me out thinking he’s gonna choke on food, so I’m very cautious with what finger foods I give him.

Lennon Wears:

Lennon is rocking the 12 month and 18 months clothing! I can’t believe how big he is! His weight is a little above average, but me oh my he is TALL! Here are his stats from his doctors appointment right on his 9 month birthday:

• Weight: 20 lbs 10 oz – 68th percentile
• Height: 29.25 in – 85th percentile

I love finding out how much he weights and how tall he is! I wish we had more appointments for find out things like that, but I guess it’s just something to look forward to.  I’ve still got Lennon in size 3 diapers because they are working just fine!

Lennon Loves:

HIS MOMMY AND DADDY! It is so cute seeing his little face light up when he sees us in the morning or when Logan comes home from work or when I get back from a work out. He is so happy to see us! It makes us feel so loved!!!

When Lennon gets excited, he now moves his arms towards our face and ends up scratching our faces! He has made me bleed on several occasions, but we are trying to teach him to be gentle… It’ll take a while!

We love Lennon’s personality! He is so funny! We can’t wait to see how his personality continues to develop in the coming months and even years. He loves to laugh and he finds funny things hilarious! He has laughed himself into tears a few time! Which makes me laugh so hard right along with him.

We love our little Lennon SO MUCH!
